Howdy,
Why bang your head about that? Seems like a reasonable price?
Good for her!
Mark
I had posted it on LS1tech and was getting offers of $12k+. That car will likely sell for $16,900. It's probably the last absolutely unmolested SS you'll find. Never raced, just her baby. Carmax offered her $6k for it.....

I was afraid that the dealer would offer her about $8k. But he walked around it, said he remembered her (no doubt) and that they sold it and offered $11,500. She was happy with it, but if I'd had time, I'd have done better for her on LS1tech. I finally listed it and my PM box filled up, my e-mail box started filling up and that was in about 2 hours. She had told me that she wanted at least $9,500 for it, and I advised her that she could do better than that. She wanted to move it, or so it seemed, so I posted $10,500 and figured she'd be happy with the extra and I knew it would sell right away. If she hadn't been in a hurry, she could have had top dollar for that car. That's the only reason for this guy....

So, I agree, she did ok, and really ok for selling to a dealer. However, if a dealer gave her $11,500, you know that the car would have sold for more than that, easily $3-4k more. And with the fanatics about SS's, maybe far more.
And I can't give mine away.....
One of the sales managers said he might buy it, and it's not on the website yet.
