What do you think this motor is worth? It is local to me.

T-Rex is a good drag cam and would be good for AX, but not road racing. That cam has fast ramps and would require fresh springs every 15 to 20,000 miles. So if those double springs were put in 15,000 miles ago, you would want to replace them again before dropping the motor in your car. Hopefully the push rods have been upgraded with those double springs and high rpm cam. I would inspect the crank and rod bearings before installing the motor also even though he said he replaced them 15k miles ago. Put the engine on an engine stand and check the oil pump O-ring also. If the cam was installed without dropping the pan, this O-ring is probably pinched.

That engine has obviously been run hard; I wouldn't give him more than whatever the salvage yards want for a stock motor with similar miles.
