Welcome. I know you've been a member for a while, but I saw that this was post #1. Glad to have you aboard!

As for that nasty Corvette....I still remember when the ZR1 was big news and just so amazingly fast and high tech. Wow what a trip it's been in just 20 years. Then again, we said that about the last 20 years when the ZR1 came out.

I wonder what a used one will go for after a few years. I can only wish for a depreciation curve that puts it where I'd be able to write the checks to own it in a few years. We all have to dream of something right?

Well the C5 Z06's are "almost" getting affordable smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
Crazy Canuck
they were supposed to call that model the "StingRay". I wonder what changed ?
oh well...

Blue Devil is sort of the internal code name...not the official name. Actual names tossed around include StingRay, SS, ZR-1, ZL-1, or something totally new.

I suggested Corvette HS

HS = Holy Shit

“We’re obviously going to have to restrict it because otherwise you get nothing but wheelspin. So those are some of the problems, is how to get power to the ground.”

Car and Driver is only speculating on the supercharged smallblock. I wonder if we may see an all aluminum bigblock?
