It took me maybe 90 min to get the motor down and most of that was spent screwing around with pressure washing the bottom of the motor & car off. I also drained the power steering, oil and radiator before starting. There was about a gallon of water in the bottom of the crank case. |

And if you re-route your front brake lines out of the K-member, you won't have to bust open the brake system, making the going back in a lot easier.

Yep, that's the easy way to change the plugs on one of those cars. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)
With all the weight you pulled out of the front of that thing, I'd have been afraid of rolling the car off the lift backwards as the last bolt dropped out. Nice. Double-flaring, or bubble-flaring as a lot of the newer cars use, is not that difficult, as long as you have the right tools. |

I was a bit concerned as well but I watched the car pretty carefully as I lifted it up off the motor & trans and it stayed rock solid. I hope you bring back ol' #45, it was the first time I met you and Jason(I think) changing a PS pump on it. Correct me if i'm wrong Nick, but #45 is one of Jason's test mule's for alot of the stuff we all run now right? |

What was the problem with the front breather the way it was setup with the radiator leaned forward? I was planning on doing that some time in the future but I'd like to know what trouble you ran into.
