cool winnipeg autox group.
I'll need to drive again to Winnipeg one of these days.... only a 28hr drive.
Did it once a few years back on my bike... left friday after work, got there 28hrs later, visited a bit, slept, and came back early so i could be in office by monday morning. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)

Eugenio, Montreal to Winnepeg in 28 hours!? The RCMP must have been sleeping. Drove to Winnepeg from Saulte Ste. Marie once in a '72 VW Camper/Bus and I know what kind of a ride that is. Got passed regularly by cars doing 100+. Pretty flat and straight in Manitoba though. Give you creadit for doing it on a bike. Any permanent back pain?

mainly driving 120-130 most of the way.
As for back pain... none.
Actually sportbikes are considered more confortable as per DOT vs custom bikes... mainly because your back doesn't suffer, while road imperfections get absorbed by the arms and legs (sportbikes) vs butt + back (custom).
Our bodies were designed to absorb shocks better through limbs rather than our spine through the butt.... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
I tend to drive a lot... i do from 80,000 - 100,000 yearly, where half is leasure driving w/ no destination for sure.
First summer on the bike, did 45,000 on it (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

edit: all units are metric (of course).. that's the standard (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Volatile, yes, but trending upwards, which is a good thing for the long term. Management needs to change their focus from short-term (weekly) to more long term and I think the ups and downs will flatten out a bit. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

...or maybe they just don't even bother chasing 180 mph capable sport bikes (like here in our state).

I've seen the crazies scream past troopers on 78 west going at least 140. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/gr_eek2.gif)

The LEOs did not even flinch.
