Haven't seen the AIX Camaro for sale anywhere?
I am not familar with Quartermaster?? Love Boats, but after stuffing a 24' Skater with triple Merc's around 90 I can't go fast on water anymore.

Again nice wheels. Bet the C5 guys would take them on corvetteforum.net

Forgive a stupid questions, but how does a 7-5/8" backspace convert to offset? I think the perfect wheel for a 4th gen Camaro would be a 43mm offset. If I guessed right on how to do the conversion, I come up with about a 55 mm offset. I hope I did it wrong. This is what I did.

11/2=5.5" This is the wheel centerline.

7.625-5.5 = 2.125" offset from centerline.

2.125" = 54.6 mm offset.

The actual MM offset changes depending on the width of the wheel and manufacturer.
I believe the fact is around 50MM on a 9" wheel ( please correct me if I'm wrong here).
I do know that these fit perfect on the 4th gen Camaro and also the Corvette,as they came off my 1995 Camaro.

The width of the rim is bead-to-bead. Backspace includes the width of the flange. Offset is calculated from the bead-to-bead centerline.

Offset determines where the tire will be positioned in the fender (in other words, where the tire will rub). Backspace determines whether the rim will rub on the spindles, bumpstops, etc. They are related, of course, but the flanges are likely to be somewhat different if you compare spun rims to cast rims, for instance.

Yup.

(of course that's only if you want to go faster). (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That looks like a nice car from what I can see. And those wheels didn't last long.

And, all of the above is in good fun. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Anytime Tony. Glad to have you aboard. We did get a chance to meet at Mid O at the nationals in 2006. I was in the Texas compound with Mitch, Glenn and the guys (and I don't expect you to remember this, you met about 12 million people that weekend).

Let me know if you need anything. If it was me you wanted to talk to, I'll PM you my contact info.

Yeah, ditto on that... Thankfully they had tires on them and were in CA or Laura would have been pissed (again) at me.
