The fishiest thing about all of that is they say that it is a Fwd, but the car looks just like a Regal. I highly doubt that it is Fwd, and why don't they have a picture of the engine?
A friend of mine had a newer ~1990 T-type Regal that was Fwd, but it was the newer, smaller body style. It was NA, but had ground effects and maybe sway bars and a few other tid-bits. This post has been edited by StanIROCZ: Jul 27 2008, 07:39 PM |

Some confusion here....
I think what this guy is saying , JUST for additional info is, " they had only 2 models lines that carried the GN name..............and one was the LeSabre" He is not saying the vehicle that is pictured and up for bid is this Lesabre. Either that, or HE is really confused, creating even more confusion down the line! The Lesabre name should not be mentioned anywhere with the Regal/Grand National/T-Type. Every sentence except the first sentence of the first paragraph should not be there. Has nothing to do with a T-Type or GN. |

I remember reading about some guy who was tearing up some FWD drag racing series with a LeSabre GN. The picture you are showing is a Regal T-type turbo which is basically a non-black Grand National (I know there's other things different).

Wow, $1000 for a T-Type? I'll give him $2000!!
A good friend of mine has a white T-Type just like that. What a fun car!!! He can only run it at 1/8th mile tracks, because it requires a rollbar if run at 1/4 mile tracks. And he can drive it to the track, with the A/C blowing and the stereo blaring, getting nearly 30 MPG along the way. What a beast. The T-Type came with the same engine the GN came with, and is essentially a GN without the black paint, although you could get a T-Type in black at the time. Wished I had one, they would make a great daily driver. |

I wasn't aware of the Lesabre GN...but I have friends with the Gran Nationals and T-Types. Awesome cars and a lot of fun.
