Howdy,
I'm officially looking for some 18x10.5(+) wheels. Factory z06 rears would be fine. I can deal with spacers if necessary, but the ideal offset would be around 40mm or so. Hoping to get ones in the 20-22 lb range. I need eight. Anyone got anything or got any pointers for me? My two data points so far are BBS race wheels at $4k+ per set or replica z06 wheels at $150 or whatever ea. and 26.5 lbs... I'm shooting for something more in the middle of that! :-) Thanks! Mark |

FYI - the C6 replicas I got from TireRack were $105, 18x10.5, and weighed 30.5lbs.

I ran across this:
Item # 360182117578 on ebay Stock Z06 offset I guess, but 21lbs and $285/each for a forged wheel that should be strong enough for what we do. No affiliation, blah blah. |

CCW's are $2200 +s/h a set and weigh in at ~21lbs in those sizes. Not having to running spacers should let you save a bit of weight too.

Howdy,
"Cheap" in this case is $300/ea... Hell, even the CCW's seem to be "reasonable" at $2260/set. I'm not sure my head is ready for that reality yet. :-) I'm also not sure how much I care about 315's on a 10.5" rim vs. an 11" or 12" rim. Anyone have any opinion on that? For the Enkei's Brian posted above, you also need to factor in the weight of an ~1" spacer. The spacers also wouldn't be free, even for me (though I can make my own, there's still material costs). My opinion is that the manufacturer has a recommended rim width and I go with that recommendation. I figure, some lawyer and engineer got together and agreed this. Some 315's are recommended on 10.5 and others are not. (Check the other thread for what I found.) |

Howdy,
Ok, I'm no longer looking for wheels. Four complete (front/rear) sets of speedlines are currently en-route to my house. :-) I'll have some 17x9.5 wheels for sale soon, after I check these out and compare backspace and such to my existing 17x9.5 wheels. Oh, and a set of heavy 17x11 wheels, optionally with tires. I'm the "wheeler dealer"! :-) Mark |
