Thanks. I hadn't seen that pic in my searching. But that might work quite nicely with the current setup....

I think, again from memory, even the less radical Camaro Cup cars would require all three peices together to work.....they look like they might just bolt on though....dunno.....

Here we go....it's one big piece I think.....
(IMG:http://www.camarocup.com/bilder/2006/05-19/Camaro060519-007.jpg)

Still interested in price either way.

Hmmmm....interesting....THAT looks like it would work for me.....I would have to detach the front each time to put it in the trailer, but from the looks of that pic....they do too...

However, I see no evidence of how they mount the nose on the front.....don't see nose to fender bolt holes or dZus fasteners.....don't see ANY fasteners on the front at all......hmmmmmmmm (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

That sort of looks like a latch below the E in EBC. Perhaps this bumper cover hasn't been fitted with the accompanying accoutrement. And perhaps it has metal arms that go into the frame rails or some similar such thing.

If I could have acquired that splitter/airdam, then I wouldn't have had mine custom built.

I'd still be interested in what $$ they wanted for the LS1 nose/airdam/splitter setup.

Sorry....it was late....I was trying desparately to decipher some strange foreign language (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ......and I saw the car in that link with a funky hood paint job and looked at it quickly and it looked like a firebird....after looking again...it is a Camaro... I'm halfway thinking of just making mine a Trans-Maro. Wonder how much would be involved in swapping in a Camaro bumper, hood and front fenders. . . Sure are a lot more pieces out there for them. In fact, a local circle track shop has urethane LT1 front pieces that have a small splitter molded in.

For giggles I hopped on to the camarocup forums. Not much activity, but a few neat posts. Some pictures. Looks like they definitely autocross there and have no problems partying (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

When I say Fenders I mean the Front and rear Quarter Panels.

Hi Chad

The body on the camaro was a one off and is hand made. To make front and rear wings the cost is £450.00 per wing
plus packing and shipping.

Regards
Andy

Hello my name is Chad and I was curious of the prices for a set of front and rear Camaro Fenders just like the ones on the Camaro you raced At Donington.

FYI - that's about $821, not including the hundreds it would take to ship it across the big pond.

What does he mean by front and rear "wings"???? The rear wing on many of those car I assume most of us would not want. By "front wing" does he mean the ENTIRE nose peice?? And if so, to the stock fenders and hood work with it?

Wait a minute.....Donnington....are you conversing with the maker of the BIG BLACK MONSTER car? Or with a Camaro Cup driver/fabricator?

Like Randy and most of us on here, I think, I was interested in the front splitter/bumper/whatever on the Camaro Cup cars.

Oh....OK....my bad...while I LOVE that car.....I am not interested in POURING money into the fab cost to make that car....for MUCH less, I could buy a premade faster car.....

FYI...the body kit on that car is ONLY the beginning......you will have to do major fab work to get it on....and look at those fenders....you will need to do MAJOR suspension work/rebuild to fill out the wheel wells....that is a FULL ON race car....not much production based IMHO....too much work/money for me...
