This thread has been quiet. Any updates??

We're closing out the other GP list on Friday. Speed Specialty was trying to get a batch of 33 together. I'm going to get the shop rolling ASAP after that. Sorry for the delay. It's like the wheel GP, get orders, get orders, get orders, get cash and rock 'n' roll.

Anyone who hasn't already paid, get with me or I'll send PM's to give you payment info.

Thanks!

Kevin, would it be too much trouble to provide a listing on the first post of the paids (like you did for the wheels)? Maybe just the ones from our list, not Speed's customers. It helps everyone know that you got their payment, and encourages the others to get it in gear. TIA

Bock

That was on my "to do" list. I'll get it started.

Awful quiet out there.....

Yes it is. I'm on hold until I get the payment from my retailer. It should be coming soon, but not soon enough.

I noticed that only two people show paid from the "non-retailer" side.

Im hoping that is an old stat, everybody should be paid up at this point.

I have been trying to be patient hoping the stuff was gonna show up in time to install it prior to my wild month of 5 events in Mid October/early Nov.

Unless you have some words of wisdom, I'll need to rebuild my LS1 brakes next week.

Keep us posted.

Bock,

I have to do some front end work this weekend, but unless I find severely tapered pads or a totally shot hub I'll probably put off the C5 installation until winter. I'll know in a day or two.

Assuming I won't need to install them right now, I could send my set to you and have Kevin ship your set to me when it's available. You'd be out one extra shipping charge, but you'd avoid wasting time and money on rebuilding what you have.

Sorry to dangle a carrot that I might have to pull away, but you don't have much time and I need to do whatever I'm going to do soon too.

Thanks for the great offer. My first big event is October 14 weekend and I will have no time to sort out a new brake install at this point. I think Im better off sticking with what I know for this go around.

Looks like I will be doing my C5 install this winter as well.

Hmm. Seems to me I had some tapering on the rears last time I looked..... I better look into that too.

Thanks Sean.

It looks like we're "full". However, I'll send you a PM that might be helpful.

Anyone still interested on a spot on the already full Trackbracket GP?????

I have a spot on the Trackbracket GP and an emergency may make me have to back out.
I really hate doing that and I wouldn't want to leave anyone hanging.

If anyone is interested in getting in on the GP, please let me know or Trackbird and I'll gladly give you my spot on the GP

Thanks guys (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

If a spot is available on this purchase, I want a set. I've just developed issues with the 1LE conversion on my 4th gen Camaro track car. Please let me know what the status is.

I'm still waiting on one payment. If it falls through, I have to see who we have in line, but you might be able to be next (I have to look through the list). So, "full for now", but I'll post if that changes (and it still could).

These brakes are fantastic. In case you don't know this, factory Z06 brake pads dust like MAD. They sure do stop good though. If you're not prepared to wash your wheels every week and you like to have clean wheels be sure to select a different pad compound. I can't say enough good things about these brackets though. I get asked about them quite often around town too. Be sure to wear your seatbelt when you stomp on them the first time. It's a major improvement!
