My oldest daughter is moving to Seattle next weekend.
So, we're throwing her and Mr. Wonderful #8 a going away party.

I just finished seasoning the meat and it's in the oven right now ... 12 hours at 225*

Tomorrow at 2pm I'll throw them on the grill for some BBQ sauce and let them say their final prayers. I doubt there will be any survivors.

If you like salad ... don't stop by ...

You know Mitch, you have entirely too good of a sense of humor to be living in Texas. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)

It's 1114 miles. By the time I'd get packed, I'd have about 14 hours. If I can average 80 mph, I'll be there on time.

I could probably pick up a few members in Nashville.....

I started to tell you to pick me up.....

I did average 87 mph between Columbus, OH and Road Atlanta a few years back. That included stops (3) and lunch at one stop. We set the cruise on "kill" and were on our way. (In a benign 2000 VW GTI VR6, the cops ignored that car).

And, we just bought another Silver GTI last night (2004)....

In due time.....

I think that would be a riot. Maybe something like the National F-body meet in Indy, but smaller. Road course, autocross, drag strip....ok, no drag strip (it just ties up road course time). If we could get enough bodies to make it, it could be fun.

Just give us time to grow some more....

It's 1891 miles, I have a full tank of gas, half a pack of smokes, it's dark, and I'm wearing sunglasses...

Bet that BBQ is so good it'll make you slap your pappy!

I've been known to damage a few pork ribs ...

For the brisket, I've added some bacon to the recipe.
We'll see. The house smells like a redneck reunion!

Does that thing have cop brakes, cop tires, and has the cat converter been removed....so it will run good on regular gas?

Sean, you're almost on the way.....

Why doesn't Mitch give us more warning for these things?

Heck, until I got sucked into Detroit I lived in Tennessee almost all my life. When people say "redneck" they're almost always thinking of either TN, AR, or MS.

Hell, I thought WV got the credit/blame for inventing/perfecting "redneck-hood". Geez, I guess I was misinformed.
