Just curious how everyone found the site? I posted a lot on the camaroz28.com forum and that's where I found it. |

I saw Chris' post about it on camaroz28.com and ls1.com. I think there's enough traffic out there to justify a separate rr/ax board for f body owners.

I was watching from LS1.com as the aftermath of "the thread" evolved over into CamaroZ28.com and then to here....I gotta have the quality input into a car that is completely new to me! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

LS1 forum is still a little active, but yes, it's died down. I really think this board is a good idea. I did notice one distinct difference between camaroz28.com and ls1.com though. When Chris posted about this board on both sites McRat immediately counterposted on ls1.com and really tried to make Chris look bad in doing so. No more responses in that thread. On camaroz28.com I didn't see any moderators jumping in. I'm a bit concerned about ls1.com. It used to be my favorite ax/rr forum. I just think it's lost it's former glory. I made a lot of friends there and still check back, but I'd rather continue on here. |

I think it was all set in stone once McRat (AAG frequent poster) came in to moderate. It seems the lkast good forum on LS1.com has finally been "tainted" like the rest.

The only forum I looked at on ls1.com was the AX/RR since I have a LT1. |

It's their general discussion. It's full of people that have 10K plus posts, no life, the iq of a rock, and are usually are perverts. The problem is LS1.com is slowed down by them and it ruins the rest of the site.

Yeah, LS1.commercial has always been more strict. However, a while back when I noticed an add for these: http://www.truetechperformance.com/goto.php3?page=P.2 scrolling along on CZ28.com and made a rather, ehem, negative post about them it mysteriously disappeared. |

I remember those "bling bling" rear control arms. That's the place right? They were CNC machined aluminum rear control arms with machined out webs and the like, and they still used poly bushings on both ends. I didn't realize those posts disappeared. |

I found the link on CZ28, but yeah I saw that McRatt had done on LS1.com......that board was all over once Mitch left his mod post. But I can't blame him to much either. It was a matter of time before it fell. Oh well, looks like this board is taking off pretty good. Lets just hope it stays going this good for a while. First on LS1.com, then CZ28.com. I was sceptecale at first. I thought this board would only help to dilute content on the other boards. I must say though that I really like the new board. I can post things that I didn't ever want to on the other boards. For whatever reason. Mostly because I like to be a little different. And it's hard to do that with 1,000's of members looking in. |

CamaroZ28.com Hope this really takes off. We could use an F bod site for some serious tech. Lets hope we don't turn into CC.com, that seems a bit extreme. |

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) We don't have an AI-type series around here, so the only place for f-bodies to race in the NW is ITE, and you need big cubic dollars to be competitive there. I like the Miata series. The cars are much more reliable (and disposable!) than an f-car, and the competition is so fierce that it does wonders for one's driving skills. I would like nothing more than for somebody to buy my Firebird and turn it into an AI project, though. All reasonable offers considered guys! Camaroz28.com and LS1.com. I too was skeptical of this board diluting the content. LS1.com auto-x/RR board was sure nice. very little BS content. Hopefully this one will collect all the knowledgeable people from the other boards. Maybe, sorta, kinda like a C-C board for f-bodies. |
