Ok, I bought the 3rd gen. I should have it at the house in the next few days. Once it's there, many things will be coming off of it (I'll have a better feel for the condition of the parts as I get things off of the car).

Some things I know I'll have for sale (pricing will be added once I see the condition of the stuff as it comes off):

3rd gen 1LE aluminum driveshaft SOLD

1992 Z28 "F40 style" rear wing SOLD

Most of the interior (Console, carpet, headliner, door panels, etc, it's all grey....the front seats are pretty much junk, but the rest might be useful). mostly thrown away

25mm rear suspension techniques sway bar

Eibach Pro Kit rear springs SOLD

Rear KYB shocks SOLD

Glassteck 2" cowl "bolt on" hood pending

Rear hatch pulldown mechanisim (1992 version) SOLD

Spare tire (folding type for a limited slip car) with the "can" of compressed air (it looks unused, but I can't say 100%). Went in the trash

Split folding rear seat and base (grey). This is the two piece folding rear seat. SOLD

Door panels with non cracked top plastic sections (the panels are a bit dirty, but otherwise in decent shape).pending

Grey carpet (dirty, but it looks decent otherwise). SOLD

Steering wheel with airbag. The wheel is pretty worn out and the cover isn't great. But it has a non-deployed air bag in it. SOLD

Front fog lights with decent lenses (I don't see any cracks). SOLD

Rear seat belts (grey) trashed

Things that will be for sale "shortly":

Spohn torque arm with 6 speed (T56) crossmember (it's a crossmember torque arm mount)

Front KYB shocks SOLD

Eibach Pro Kit front springs SOLD

A set of 1992 Z28 wheels (16" alloys, rough shape, but I think they are round enough for track wheels)

Factory oil cooler just the cooler, the lines are damaged

Slightly farther down the road:

And, I may sell the T56/clutch/flywheel/bellhousing/B&M Ripper setup for a Richmond 5 speed in the future (not sure how soon). Or, it might be packaged with the torque arm/crossmember stuff as well.

I've also got an SLP takeout flywheel for an LT1/1 piece rear main seal engine.

Holley Stealth Ram intake system. I think I'm going to change it out for a single plane EFI intake at some point.

I might be interested in the driveshaft. Which KYB shocks do you have? I'm building a CMC car, but if I wait to buy the parts I really want, I'll never get the thing on the track. It sounds like some of your stuff may get me started. I'll check back for prices.

The KYB's are the non adjustable ones (GR2's? on the front and Gas A Just on the rear, as I remember).

Do you have the fuse panel (assuming it's a 92 style dash?)? I'm having the worst time finding one of these at the junkyards, they always rip them out I assume to disable the airbags.

That's probably staying. I'll need the electrical, but not the soft parts. At least for now. I might just put a painless harness in it, in that case it will probably be removed. It is a 1992 car with a 1992 dash.

Oh, and there is a bolt on, cowl induction (3" I think) hood on the car. This one uses the hood hinges and is still in the black finish. It was just put on last year and hasn't been driven more than a few miles since it was installed (100 miles maybe, probably more like 30). I think it's a Harwood, but I'll have to verify that first.

I think it's this one:

Actually it's a Glasstek 2" hood - I didn't like the curve of the scoop on Harwood.

http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog/?acti...154&sid=598

It will need to stay on the car until you swap out the HSR (HSR hits on the stock hood).

The headliner is pretty much shot - unless you just want the backing board to make your own.

I was going to replace it with a pin on Harwood cowl hood and dump the hinges. So, I can still get rid of that one and swap hoods for now.

Too bad that won't fit a Firebird. While I like our very light liftoff, it is sometimes a hassle to pull at the track and work on things when the wind is blowing.

I'd be interested in the DS, too, but it looks like I'm in line.

How is the dash pad? I'd be interested in that.

I'll pick it up tonight and I'll let you know on the dash. I don't think it's perfect, but I'm not sure how it really is (and if I'm dumping that part yet).

It has the factory designed cracks in the speaker grills - don't remember the rest of it (maybe one in the middle).

I'd think you'd want to keep it (right now the WB is mounted on it).

Also when you pull the Holley Stealth Ram I would like to take a look at it. If I can have it mahined down to work under the STB, I'd take it too.

I know it wont in stock form, but if the base and the plenum can be machined to reduce the height by maybe an inch it might work. That is if it doesn't begin to interfere with the fuel rail. That or maybe fab a whole new plenum.

The headliner is garbage. The cloth is completely unbonded from the backing board. If you still want it, you can have it once it's out. Otherwise, it's headed for the trash.

Very interested in the front & rear Eibach Pro Kit. How much would you be asking for both?

Also, how much are you asking for the hood?

Once I get front springs, I'd probably let them go for $150-ish, but I can't say that I even know what they cost new. They've been installed for a while, but this car has almost no mileage on it since the work was done. So, they are pretty close to new (it was garage kept). I'll have to track down front springs for it first though.

Thunder lists them for $380 new, it was installed very few miles ago. I'd like to see $300 for it (but I'll include the hinges and latch so it's ready to bolt on). I might be flexible on that price though. However, it's too big to ship and I don't have a box for it.

Nope, Mike kept those, so I have no AC delete boxes. I'm going to just pull the stuff and patch the firewall. However, I might have a factory oil cooler for sale soon (if I can get it off without having to lift the engine).

The sway bar is still available (I have to pull it off of the car still) and the oil cooler is the same way. It's still installed, but once it comes off, it's still up for grabs.

Can you do me a favor and remove the sig pic please? We don't allow them here. It helps make the threads easier to read and some have been less than tasteful/family friendly (not yours, but a few others).

Thanks!

I also added more stuff to the initial list.

The sound deadener panel that goes under the dash? I launched it into a dumpster since nobody seemed to want much of the interior stuff. If you're talking about something else, let me know, I still have some things, but I tossed the rest after getting sick of looking at it piled in the corner.

The 25mm bar is still here.

The oil cooler is partially here. I took a sawzall to the hard lines to get it off of the car (moment of frustration). So, if you can locate new hard lines, I've got the actual cooler "block" and some of the hard lines (enough that you could possibly fabricate something or make it out of heater hoses).

Let me know if you need either of them.

Kevin, do you have the fuse panel cover?

The sound deadener panel that goes under the dash? I launched it into a dumpster since nobody seemed to want much of the interior stuff. If you're talking about something else, let me know, I still have some things, but I tossed the rest after getting sick of looking at it piled in the corner.

I think that's the one...kind of. It's the removable panel that hides the fuses.

Bummer. I had all of the stuff in a pile for a few weeks and finally decided to toss it all. I wish I'd known.

Sorry Dave.

Ok, I'm adding a set of centerbolt valve covers. I bought these as prototypes from Canton. I was going to have 12 AN bungs welded onto them and get proper holes drilled for track use. However, I will probably change heads before then and figured I'd send these off to a good home. You'll need to gather up some hardware for them, they didn't come with any.

I paid $50 and a bit of shipping.

$50 + freight

25mm rear suspension techniques sway bar $90 + freight

Glassteck 2" cowl "bolt on" hood pending

A set of 1992 Z28 wheels (16" alloys, rough shape, but I think they are round enough for track wheels)

Factory oil cooler just the cooler and a section of hard line but not all of the lines, the lines are damaged/cut $20 + freight

I've also got an SLP takeout flywheel for an LT1/1 piece rear main seal engine. $50 + freight

Things that I'm still kicking around getting rid of:

T56/clutch/flywheel/bellhousing/B&M Ripper setup. Or, it might be packaged with the torque arm/crossmember stuff as well.

Holley Stealth Ram intake system. I think I'm going to change it out for a single plane EFI intake at some point.

I'd have a Holley Stealth Ram
24 lb SVO (I think) injectors
52mm throttle body (aftermarket, I forget which one)
MSD "dual connector" Pro-Billet distributor

I'm considering swapping to a carb for now and going back to EFI later. When I do the new EFI, I'm not going to use much of this stuff anyway, so I was thinking of selling it now, swapping over and then changing back later on.

Interested in the T56 set-up... Let me know when you are ready to sell.

Still interested? What's a full setup (clutch, flywheel, torque arm, crossmember, driveshaft loop, ripper, T56, bellhousing, I think that's all) worth? I'm keeping the master/slave cylinder and the pedals, the rest would pretty much be included.

I might be interested in the hood. Please email/post some pics of the actual hood once you get the car.

Was it you that E-mailed me? That machine died and I've not heard back from the person who was interested in the hood. I've got another guy interested, but I'm trying to figure out who was the first one to contact me?

What of the 25mm sway bar?
I'm also interested in the oil cooler if no one snags it.

Both are still here.

Do you still have the hood or have you sold it? Need one to replace the junk one thats on mine.

It's still here. Did you E-mail me? Someone did, but who?

Also, I'm adding the two stock TPI fans. I'm keeping the top shroud and I may or may not be able to part with the bottom mount (I forget if anything else is attached to it). $75 + freight for the pair of fans.

Yes, still interested. I don't need the crossmember, torque arm, or driveshaft loop, but need everything else (or as much as you will sell me). What kind of clutch is it? 1pc rear main or 2pc flywheel? Everything else should include the trans and belhousing, complete clutch, flywheel, shifter, bolts, flywheel cover, and ??? As complete as possible will be easiest for me since I really don’t know what all I need.

How soon you looking to take it out? I'm planning to come down to Nationals so we could plan the exchange for then.

Out of curiosity, why a Richmond 5 speed? Lighter?

1 piece rear main flywheel.
Centerforce DF clutch (1k miles, 50 minutes on track, 2 autocrosses on it)
Bellhousing
Trans
B&M Ripper
Hurst Shifter Ball/Knob
Clutch fork

I think that's it.

I want to run a Richmond 5 speed for a few reasons.

I can't use 6th on a race track.
A Richmond 5 speed with 2.73's in the rear is almost a gear for gear match with a T56/3.42
Lower driveshaft RPM
It weighs 92 lbs
I can get a scattershield for it
I can use "standard" clutches

I'm sure there are others, but that's the bulk of them.

Depending on what the change over will cost and what we could work out on this will determine if I'm pulling it now or not.

It's attached to the crossmember. I don't have pics, but I could try to get some.
