I’ve been a bitch this year because of mechanical problems and only made it to the track 2x and there were stone chips to prove it because I refuse to use blue tape. I always say ‘next year’ but my goal is to make it to the track 6x/yr. Good thing about being tight with a paint guy is he can keep up with minor stuff like paint chips etc I just need to keep out of a wall and the shiny side up. |

So riddle me this, if you were side by side comming of the front straight to a left hander and you had the inside groove and the race car next to you was not giving you an inch would you let him pass or risk trading paint? I think there's nothing better than showing up to the track/ax with the cleanest car possible, getting props (or ribs) for it. And then proceeding to lay some serious smack down, dirt or no. And then when you get home all you have to do is use the quick detailer to clean up.
