He told me in the 'featured car area', wherever that is.

Yeah, I definitely want him to take a bunch of pics for me.

Most of the feature cars are out in front of the main hall and the big time displays are just inside the main entrance.

I'll be sure to get some pics of it.

blahhahahaha! your hilarious!

The honest answer is that I haven't worked on the misfire issue since we last talked about it. I got an ECM from Jeremy that I need to plug in and try, hopefully I can get to that on Sunday.

so how are you going to fit this in with your LS swap? Isn't the show in February? You've got your work cut out for you brother (in my best Hulk Hogan voice).... I'll plan on coming up some time around the holidays to help if needed. Throwing sand in your first engine didnt seem to work so I'll try it again.....

Ok, I'm going to whore it up a bit.

http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2011/10/18/Ice...r-SEMA-7705315/

I dropped the car off at the Ice Nine shop on Sunday so that they could prep it for the show. Matt Trombley is a friend of Keith and Mat of Ice Nine, and happens to be an incredible photographer, and he took this pic for us:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/matttrombley/6264042522/
Anyone know how to get that pic to show in this thread?

Matt will be going to Vegas for the show so hopefully he can take a bunch more pics. Unfortunately I won't be able to go.

Keith was also working on some some race car numbers...

Looks good!

Double click on the pic, it will open in another window - in the upper right corner there is an icon labeled 'view all sizes' click that, then the available sizes are listed - click on one (this is size large) and it will open another window with a button that says 'download the xxxx size of this pic' do that to get you the .jpg on your computer - upload it to your host and post - like this:

Ok thanks Alan! I was hoping there was a way to share that photo through a link at Flicker because my PC at home wouldn't let me download. That works! And because you went through the effort, I don't have to!

Too stylized for a race car number, and the wrong color - it will be a hit at SEMA

As I remember the hoses are "swapped", I don't think you're going to have much luck using the current radiator.

The car looks great Stan! I could leave the numbers, but that's how the display car circuit goes...lol.

A little more than half way down this page: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2011/11/06...s-amp-ends.aspx

The numbers are coming off ASAP. I was hoping they'd grow on me but they haven't. Next year I'll have them done right.

I don't know Stan the car is starting to look like a trailer queen... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif) How is that track time going? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)

Car looks great, nice to have something that is streetable and still kicks butt when you need it to!

(Are you one of those guys that puts 10lbs of blue tape on the front of your car now? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) hehehehe)

Ouch!!

I’ve been a bitch this year because of mechanical problems and only made it to the track 2x and there were stone chips to prove it because I refuse to use blue tape. I always say ‘next year’ but my goal is to make it to the track 6x/yr. Good thing about being tight with a paint guy is he can keep up with minor stuff like paint chips etc I just need to keep out of a wall and the shiny side up.

There's 6 pictures halfway down this page: http://www.bangshift.com/gallery/sema-2011...-2-gallery.html (images 75-76 and 87-90)

I also get a half second in the SEMA Cruise U-tube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xik2_dZE4_4
at the 50 second mark

OHHH NOOO!

Is that actual Carnuba wax, or the Mothers wash and wax? Yep it's official the car is now a trailer queen! To pretty to take on the track...

So riddle me this, if you were side by side comming of the front straight to a left hander and you had the inside groove and the race car next to you was not giving you an inch would you let him pass or risk trading paint?

That is why I built a track car, to save my show car... Now I have no need to worry about paint.

Looks great! you did a wonderful job with her!

(Just giving you a hard time Dude, nothin personal)

I think there's nothing better than showing up to the track/ax with the cleanest car possible, getting props (or ribs) for it. And then proceeding to lay some serious smack down, dirt or no. And then when you get home all you have to do is use the quick detailer to clean up.

Austin will never have this problem. No reason to rub fenders when you're in last place! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif) OH, yup I went there!

I'm really looking forward to Gingerman this year. All he's gonna see is my camber rods.....
