OK. I e-mailed everyone on the list to make sure they are still "in". I'll let everyone know as soon as I get the replies and get a count.

I spoke to Bob. He's going to call the machine shop and recheck the schedule and the price of aluminum (to make sure the price stays the same, I'll let you know if there is a slight change). Once he gets that information and I find out if everyone is still ready to go, I'll need to collect the money quickly (trying to get this done before the machinist retires in the middle of December). So, I'll need you guys to get me the payments "yesterday" (as soon as we know this is going). Paypal is preferred (it's fast), but you can mail money orders (you just need to do it right away....as soon as we say we are a go, not right now).

I'll post more info as I gather it.

Thanks Chris. As long as everyone who is on the list still wants their set, Bobbylee has spoken for 2 sets and he'll let you have one of his. So, we have a set for you (and I'm buying extras and so is Guardsman). I'll post here as soon as I get the final count to make sure we have 22 sets covered. I'll need to gather the funds quickly since I have to send the money to Bob to get production started and we are on a tight schedule with the machine shop (really tight). So, please keep an eye on this thread (everyone).

I hope to get replies in the next few days on the last few. If I don't, does anyone else need a second set? I don't want to "quit" on this batch now. I'll post up as soon as I have the final replies. I had 23 total people lined up (including the people buying multiple sets), one of those just bought a Z06 (at least he got his brakes), so that leaves 22 sets (if I get all of the replies back). Maybe everyone will check their mail on Monday and get back to me.

There is some info on a company who does a "deal" for bob's kit in the "questions about bob's brackets" sticky in the classifieds section.

If not, maybe we can get something started on the brake pads and rotors at least.
