The green car got caught in a wicked storm tonight, including some big hail. I was on the highway at the time. The car is dirty and was wet, so I am not sure how much damage was done, but there is definitely two big dings in the hood, and one or more on each quarter panel. Freaking sucks, but at least no glass was broken. I guess this will make it that much easier to make a CMC2 car out of it...

I would also recommend claiming it.
Back around '98 I had a '89 Firebird that I had paid $4000 for about a year earlier. We had a big hailstorm with most of the balls around golf ball size. My Firebird was parked outside while I was at work and when the storm was over and we all came out to look for damage, the whole top of my car had multiple dents in it. State Farm wrote me a check for $3500. I didn't fix it, and sold it to the dealer where I found my '94 Firebird for $2000. That is the only time I've made a profit on a car. |
