For those who may be looking for HPDE events at Watkins Glen this season, trackmasters has posted their event schedule and has openned reservations for the season. They are a very serious and safety minded group and have programs from the novice level through to Open Track. I have run with them for the last 9 seasons and highly recommend them. Their school groups tend to fill quickly since they limit the number of students, so early reservations would be a wise idea. Open Track generally has no limit to the number of entrants. However, if you are looking for good instruction as a student or 5 hours of track time daily in Open Track, I'd recommend you check them out.

The trackmasters schools fill up very early and very rapidly. I think this is partly due to the fact that most "students" are people who have been told about the school by other students or Open Trackers. Trackmasters doesn't advertise in magazines, etc., so most people find out through word of mouth. I believe there are only one or two novice schools this season as trackmasters doesn't mix novices with more experienced students. Sorry you couldn't get a reservation. Did you check to see if there was a "wait' list for cancellations?
