RE: http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?showtopic=9549 The claim was settled today. And it wasn't very pretty. The HANS device was excluded. It was deemed a specific, non-household device, used for a single and very specific purpose and required the car for it's use. Therefore it was excluded as a "household" item. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif) I don't agree with that assessment at all, but the adjuster was adamant. We debated over the driving suit and helmet as they wanted to replace my Sparco with Bubba's fire suit and prom dress. They also wanted to replace my Impact helmet with air ports with a Nitro helmet. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) In the end, I got the replacement cost of a decent suit and a my helmet. Everything else in the bags were covered without question. So, the settlement was about $1500 short of what was claimed. Check should be here Tuesday .... time to go shopping! |

Heck, I carried my ever-growing daughter up a long grassy hill on my neck/shoulders last night. I'm used to the weight, but now she's learning how to work a swing to keep it going, and she tried to use the same technique to make me go faster. My neck and upper back are kind of stiff and sore today So, where can I get one of those nifty HANS child-carrying systems? Every household with a small child should have one (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

Compress the spine just a bit to make it annoying. But funny thing I sit in my car with helmet on and add some G's for 20 min and come out with a smile and no i'll effect. Isnt parenthood great!!!!!
