It took me maybe 90 min to get the motor down and most of that was spent screwing around with pressure washing the bottom of the motor & car off. I also drained the power steering, oil and radiator before starting. There was about a gallon of water in the bottom of the crank case. |

And if you re-route your front brake lines out of the K-member, you won't have to bust open the brake system, making the going back in a lot easier.

And if you re-route your front brake lines out of the K-member, you won't have to bust open the brake system, making the going back in a lot easier. That's the plan. I just cut the front lines as I know I've got a 'good spare' set that I can re-route around the radiator support next time around. I may just get some 3/16" brake lines and flare them all myself as well, it depends on how adventurous I want to get. -- Nick |
