I'm going ot update the red car with the 98+ nose and hood that I've had laying around for a while. I don't have any 98+ fenders though, so I'm hoping I can just trim the 93-97 fenders that I have already.

Does anyone know if I can get a decent 'race car quality' fit with the 98+ nose and the earlier fenders witha bit of careful cutting?

We briefly went down this road when we got a 98+ bumper cover for some reason. I can't recall if the 98+ bumper cover overlaps the earlier fenders, or if it's the other way around, and there's a gap that needs to be filled. Either way, we scrapped that idea pretty quickly. If I recall my reasoning it was a lot of hassle and parts purchasing just to update the look and get minimal (if any) gain. Then again, my fab skillz have gotten a little better since then. I still wouldn't take it on though, not enough bang for the buck.

What are you hoping to achieve?
