I'm going ot update the red car with the 98+ nose and hood that I've had laying around for a while. I don't have any 98+ fenders though, so I'm hoping I can just trim the 93-97 fenders that I have already.
Does anyone know if I can get a decent 'race car quality' fit with the 98+ nose and the earlier fenders witha bit of careful cutting? -- Nick |

Nick - The fender material trims nicely with a flap disc - lotsa dust, tho.
but, Rockauto shows cost of both front fenders is $80 - ya, for both. Shipping from WI is high, but I bet there's a warehouse in LA with stock. |

The reason I wanted to try and modify the 93 - 97 fenders is that the 98 hood & nose that I've already got are red to match the car (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If they can't be modified simply then I'll go for picking up a couple of the cheap import fenders and get the front end of the car painted.. -- Nick |
