Wonder if any of this stuff will be spending time in the wind tunnel. The bigger brakes look nice too.

Since the muscle car market is going retro, wouldn't it be cool to see a race series that has the new Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger all duking it out in some stock form? I'd love to see the resultant Chevrolet Racing catalog, like Ford has Ford Racing bits for the S197.
As to weight, all manufacturers are making porkier cars. Even Porsche makes pigs, although they produce GT2s and GT3s (and of course GT3 RS in Europe) that are lightweight versions of the street cars. The BMW enthusiasts bemoan the new 1 series for being a pig, and it is! It's larger and heavier than my 10 year old M3. The fact of the matter is, cars are getting bigger and heavier, and automakers aren't interested in making stripper models for folks like us that want cloth, crank windows, manual seats, etc... I commend any automaker that makes that car. But face it, in a sea of dipshits driving 70 in the fastlane, yakking on their cell phone while they ferry the kids to school, happy that there are four cupholders in their 5000 pound V8 "performance vehicle", we are the minority. We know how to drive and know what a performance car feels like. But they ain't building a car for us. They're building a car for them Alright, I could go on for pages. If you want a performance 5th gen, I suggest starting with a body in white. I've been having dreams of economy rebounds, stock market gains, and the notion of building up a body in white for AI since the first 5th gen pictures came out. Fact is, them days is gone. Jason |

That could be interesting...although it would leave Toyota out (not that thats a bad thing either...) |
