Wonder if any of this stuff will be spending time in the wind tunnel. The bigger brakes look nice too.

I wrote a letter to the SCCA about a "rebirth" of the Trans-Am series using the new crop of ponycars with rules similar to the speed GT series. Slot it right in between the GT and Touring cars. I'd watch it! Of course you know how it goes with writing letters to the SCCA! Won't happen anytime soon. SCCA wants rediculous amounts of money (and manufacture commitments) to make Trans Am happen again (as a in the 60's and 70s...not tube frame). If people would start building them for American Sedan or Iron you might see some more interest. Unfortunatley the knuckle draggers in Asedan feel that allowing new technology ie 350 engines and independant suspensions is wrong. They are/were lettting the T2 cars run this year at 3600 lbs and a stock motor just to see how well they burn up brakes.

Look what trans am could be...GTO, CTSV, G8, Challenger, Camaro, 350Z, Mustang who has interest in that...

GTO, Challenger, and Caddy are to porky and just to big without weight breaks. I light car might weight in at 3400 lbs starting from BIW.

Grand AM (Koni Challenge) already has the formula and someone else has the name (Not SCCA) and the two shall never meet.
