This may sound selfish, but I don't put proposal info on the website, because after all, only so many companies will dish out merchandise and/or cash every year and I want every penny of it (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I worked almost 2 months (off & on) on my 17 page proposal. I researched online and bought a few ebooks on the subject.
Basically, you're trying to sell yourself as best you can. I spell out what I'll be doing, where I'll be, and what I'm looking for from them in return. That's also the reason I have a few shows in the schedule to give more exposure for the sponsors. The more you can promote, the better chance you'll get on getting something. |
