Wow ... I visit Tech regularly, but only read/post in the Texas sections and occasionally in the Suspension and Road Racing sections. I guess as this platform becomes more "obsolete" with time, this kind of thing is to be expected. |

Well, I cant see the info you linked to Mitch, it tells me I have insufficient access. The forums seem to be up and running fine...so what's going on?

But it sounds like internet brands bought the site to turn it into an even larger cash cow than it already was and the membership is upset about the lack of tech (posts getting deleted about non sponsors, people getting banned, etc) and the pop up ads, and google ads, and such. Then IB is pretty mad about the database thing and I'm going to assume (if it's true), that lawyers will be involved ASAP. Again, this is all based on heresay and conjecture (and therefore qualifies as a rumor), but that looks like the basic issue. |
