I was thinking about going to look for a new Camaro tomorrow...just looking for fun. I decided to do a little internet googling and found the following info:
I discovered my local dealer (Palm Gainesville) was to receive a black SS 6 speed. I'm thinking Cool...cant wait. I located the VIN online and tracked down the car. The dealer website does not show that they have the car. I dig a little deeper and discover that the SOB's put the car up on Ebay and sold it already...before it even arrived at the lot. Sticker was 34k (ish) and the Ebay auction indicates it was sold for 41K (ish). My math is pretty bad but that looks like about a 20% markup over MSRP. Is it just me, or does this seem just wrong. bock |

I talked with our local Chevy dealer/friend and he told me that there would be no way to get a car this year even at over 10k more than sticker. He already had 10+ folks who had put money down years ago in anticipation of the car coming out and all willing to pay 10k over sticker.
He told me to just wait until the next year if I really was interested. |
