I was thinking about going to look for a new Camaro tomorrow...just looking for fun. I decided to do a little internet googling and found the following info:
I discovered my local dealer (Palm Gainesville) was to receive a black SS 6 speed. I'm thinking Cool...cant wait. I located the VIN online and tracked down the car. The dealer website does not show that they have the car. I dig a little deeper and discover that the SOB's put the car up on Ebay and sold it already...before it even arrived at the lot. Sticker was 34k (ish) and the Ebay auction indicates it was sold for 41K (ish). My math is pretty bad but that looks like about a 20% markup over MSRP. Is it just me, or does this seem just wrong. bock |

I was only joking about the Formula. More layoffs have been announced (no surprise), but it could take several months to find out who gets the axe. My area is definitely in the crosshairs.
I wonder if supply is really constrained, or if dealers just under-ordered because of the economy. |
