QUOTE (rmackintosh @ May 27 2004, 11:02 PM) polishing the water pump.....SOMEBODY has too much time on their hands..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I new that the motor was going to be 4-5 weeks anyways, and this was something that I always wanted to try. I only did the area's that are visible when installed. I didn't have the tools to get into some of the small spaces. believe me it would not pass as a show car peice but I did a pretty good job. It was kind of fun but quite a bit of work. I did a light job on the large casting that holds the altenator and A/C pump, just cleaned it up with the sanding pads. Then when I took the intake in for powder coat the guy also does ceramic coating. For $50 bucks he would do the casting so I gave it to him, should look pretty cool. Steve |
