that is shocking. That guy knows the track and knows where he can maintain speed. Yeah, it doesn't look he's afraid to ball it up and take someone else out with him either. I was speaking to Brian Redman one day at a historc racing event (of some kind, I forget which) and I told him that I saw him out in his (insert one of his old/expensive race cars here...I forget what it was) and he said "Oh no...it's not mine, I don't make it a habit to OWN race cars, far too expensive. I just enjoy driving them when the owners ask me to do so (he then told me that he did own the old blue Capri that he was driving that day, but that was it)". |
