Watching "Love the Beast" on Speed channel got me thinking about it again, usually the idea doesn't pop into my head until mid summer when it is way too late to prepare or participate.
Anyone interested in trying to make a run at it? I have experience behind the wheel and navigating in TSD rally's, so I feel comfortable in either seat. Targa Newfoundland website: http://www.targanewfoundland.com/ Interest? Ideas? Questions? -Tim |

Yeah, I am looking into going up and spectating this year. Most likely fly to whatever the closest airport is and just rent a car to go watch.
From what it looks like it would call for a solid car(roads look pretty rough in some sections) and a few people to help between stages(apparently you are allowed up to 8 crew). I certainly don't expect to go up there and run in the open division first try. More than likely go into the closest to stock class. It will be fun to see and figure out if I can make it happen. I plan to make the most of 2010 to see if I cna make it happen in 2011. -Tim |
