Watching "Love the Beast" on Speed channel got me thinking about it again, usually the idea doesn't pop into my head until mid summer when it is way too late to prepare or participate.
Anyone interested in trying to make a run at it? I have experience behind the wheel and navigating in TSD rally's, so I feel comfortable in either seat. Targa Newfoundland website: http://www.targanewfoundland.com/ Interest? Ideas? Questions? -Tim |

Take good notes please...I'm interested in running it one year. But I don't think I'll get the luxury of watching one year and then going.
Tons of pics, talk to the crews, etc. How many miles does the crew drive? Adequate area for paddocking most places? Paddocks have power or no? How many legs? etc etc... I did rallying for a while and this seems like the ultimate rally. I'm sure it'd CRUSH the budget for a solid year or more, but man, that is ONE event that I think has to be on the list. Costas cars and such... |
