The paving is new, the lot is large by huge. Definitely a great venue.

Here's a link to the only video from my car that worked today. My new GoPro camera worked great, when I pushed the buttons properly.

Anyway here's a look at the course, but more importantly the lot.

I've seen road courses smaller and tighter than that!! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/gr_eek2.gif) (Whoever set that thing must NOT own a Miata or Civic!)

I have to get my sorry azz up there for one of those.

Actually, the guy that designed the course owns or co-drives (not sure which) a Lotus Elise. But I was talking with him and he kinda admitted that the size of the lot overwhelmed him and knows he can do so much more now that he's seen the lot first hand. If you have to pick and choose your spots to go autoxing, this lot is one to set some time aside for. Its worth the trip up there. In fact its so good, next time out I might run both the AM and the PM session. I'm already there and if the weather is good, why not?

When I first started autocrossing in the late '80s-early '90s, I used to BEG the course setters to outline the cones in chalk/lime/etc.

The first time I showed up at an event I looked out and all I saw was "a sea of cones"!! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
