How bad of an idea is a wheel spacer like this in 1/8 in behind the right rear of my '67 Camaro ?

(IMG:http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/large/gor-sp601s_w.jpg)

The tire wants to slight rub the inner fender well / trunk area when going through dips on right hand turns or, turning "aggressively" (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

I can re-torque the lug nuts often , BUT don't want any mishaps ...

just in case someone wonders wheel is a 17x9.5 Cragar SS (steel) and tire is Nitto 555R Drag radial.

Thoughts or FHE ?

Are you still using leaf springs ? If so it's possible that either the spring or hanger is bent.
