The ones I installed on my car (not a 3rd gen) installed exactly like factory. All the little plastic push pins were pre-installed and lined up perfectly with the existing holes in the doors.

im referring to the screws at the top of the seals, at the top corners of the doors. the large molded foam ends have plastic inserts in them, covered in foam. so the screws have something solid to go through, not just foam. the push in pins for the rest of the door are there and have always lined up.
