Sorry for the P/U question, BUT there is A LOT of suspension knowledge here !!!
My friend has some almost new take-off from his 1999 Silverado 1500 ... I have found that with some brands that the part #'s are different from my 1998 K1500 ... Anyone know if they would fit ? (1998's SHOCKS same as the 1999's ) The shocks in question are RANCHO 5000's .. prob not the most desirable, but with less than 5k on them they have too be better than my 145k stockers ... You're asking if you can put shocks for a GMT800 chassis on a GMT400 chassis. The front suspensions are somewhat different, that is where I think the problem will be, but it's just a hunch. I'd hit up www.fullsizechevy.com and search there, someone might know.
