Hey guys,
Want to match up the hei, spark plug wires, and MSD 6AL Box. Whats the best style, gauge wire etc for this application with headers. Thanks for the recommendation (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |

My only experience with running wires under the headers is with LT1 engines in 95-96 B-bodies. It's a complete, huge, royal PITA. That's running from the front of the engine off the Optispark, and around all the factory accessories.
But, I've never done it with an engine with a regular HEI. You'll probably want to run some looms or tie-downs off the oil pan, and make sure you label the wires on both ends, as I suspect working on the plug end will be a LOT easier from under the car. |
