Hey guys,
Want to match up the hei, spark plug wires, and MSD 6AL Box.
Whats the best style, gauge wire etc for this application with headers.
Thanks for the recommendation (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

What headers are you using? I'm running the 1 3/4" SLP's on my 3rd gen with the MSD wires that have 90 degree spark plug boots and they fit quite well. I'm running an MSD 6AL, MSD "drop in" ('87 and up style) Pro Billet distributor and Blaster 3 coil. It works well so far.

Thanks Kevin,
I'm running 1 5/8 headers but wanted to know if 8mm size wire was the best combo.
Heard new engine run on stand today. Sounds like a southern allstar dirt track motor. LOL Going to run wires under headers. Any luck with that?
What rev limit chip do you have in MSD 6AL? Is that your 92 3rd gen? If so, love to share ideas with ya. Thanks for your communication (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Yes, the '92 is my project. I set the shift light ast 6,100 and the rev limiter at 6,500. The engine will spin to 7k, but it really quits making power around 6k. I left the extra RPM for those times when you have to stretch a gear on an autocross course (though that's not its intended job these days, I built the car to try to run AI at some point).

Running under the headers seems like a real pain in the butt. I have played with the idea, but never really found a good way to get the job done (without spending all weekend on it). So mine are a bit sloppy, but they run the traditional route.
