Please help me fix this problem. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) The oil pan Ive installed on new motor will not allow the exhaust pipe to run under the oil pan. My passenger side exhaust pipe is fine. Whats the best way to run the drivers side exhaust by the slave cylinder and down the drivers side with kick out by back tire behind driver? Also, As long as exhaust is behind the driver it is legal for racing??? |

I'd recommend fabbing up a new trans cross member and routing the pipes along the sides of the trans, then under the trans crossmember tucked as tightly as possible then into a single exhaust dumped wherever you want. There is no room to run a pipe down the driver's side of the trans tunnel without loosing lots of ground clearance. Your ground clearance will already be bad enough trying to get pipes past a T56. The other option you have if you must run a pipe down the driver's side is to curve out towards the side of the car right behind the front A-arm and run the pipe down the pinch weld where subframe connectors usually are located.
