My car has a 4 point in it. Alan, the wide seat fit? The front seat mount doubler is 20.5" wide, the Kirkey 18" is 18.25" wide at the base. Add 3/16" for side mount plates to each side and you have nearly an inch to spare at the base. The only other tight spot is at the tunnel next to the shift boot opening - the front inside lip of the seat can contact the tunnel there, worse for shorter drivers and worse for composite seats which are bulkier with the rolled lip. Generally not a problem with an aluminum seat since they are narrower here than the composite. |
