One of the guys in our local F-body club made a little error in judgement and destroyed his F-body. Just a reminder to be careful out there. He seems to be mostly unhurt (great news). http://www.cofba.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ub...ic;f=7;t=003844 |

As an instructor I would not let anyone slide around until they had the track down cold without sliding. Until one really understands technique a twitch of any kind could be disastrous. I read that whole post and it appears that he was "pushing the nose" on track out, not 'hanging the tail out" as it originally seems. It appears (after reading the whole thing) that he was doing it correctly and just made a slight, but costly, mistake (dropped a wheel going to wide). |
