I am doing the Power Tour long haul this year.
I am signed up for the qualifier in Arlington Tx. I have a new set of street tires on the car(300 tread wear) I can get by with those, the brake pads are what I am worried about. I bought the best ceramic pads Oreilly had so they wouldn't dust my wheels up, I did the autocross in Muskegon and they did ok. I don't have ny brake ducts either. I had my Carbotech XP 12/10 fronts and the 8's for the rear sent to my hotel.....do I need to put them on? The Optima deal is Autocross Stop Box Eagle Canyon road course(1 lap at a time) Will I be ok with the ceramic pads??????????? Or switch to the Carbotech's? Need some input quick. |

Eagle's Canyon is a bitch on brakes. 3 long runs into very tight, sharp turns.
We've had some nice rain here over the last couple days. Don't go off-track or it will be ugly ... VERY ugly. Cinch it up, big boy ... ECR ain't BMP. |
