What's the next part you're buying? Suspension, driveline, motor, cup holder?
Next thing I'm buying is a set of file fit moly rings from either Albert and childs or Speed Pro. |

QUOTE (robz71lm7 @ Jun 28 2004, 08:02 PM) QUOTE (trackbird @ Jun 27 2004, 12:07 AM) .357 Magnum..... Cool. My friend has a couple of .357 magnums. He has a S&W model 66 6" and a 686 6". The 686 is a nice big frame that really tames the load. I love the flash and noise. The smaller 66 has considerably more recoil being a smaller frame. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) I used to own a Taurus 7 shot "66" (nice gun, S&W knock off), bought a Ruger GP 100, then an S&W model 66. Sold the 66 and the GP on gunbroker to buy a nice custom shop S&W large frame 8 shot (627), but the GP never sold. So, I just traded it to my dealer for a Beretta polymer 9mm for concealed carry and am about to buy my GP 100 back. I also used to own a Ruger .454 Casull (big, noisy fun), but after 1200 rounds in 6 months, it was starting to get old putting all the screws back in it. The vibration was taking it apart. It does not seem that it was intended for that kind of use (2 friends and I did 250 rounds, in a long afternoon once). If you don't know what a .454 Casull is, do a google search or look at www.freedomarms.com and click on "your success" and look at the Hippos that were killed in one shot with a .454 handgun. BIG, and did I mention NOISY, fun! I'm an avid shooter/reloader and used to own a Remington 40xb-ks, match rifle with a stainless bull barrel in .300 win mag with a factory 2 oz trigger (yup, 2 oz, that scope has hit me in the head more than a few times when reaching for it, BOOM!). And several other toys (steyer tactical .308 with a beavy barrel, etc). I've had .38's, .40's, a Walther PPK/S, a Colt 70 series Gold Cup, the list goes on.....(more than anyone cares to read). |
