Finally got the motor yanked out of my old ITE/AIX car. The car ran last in 2003 after winning the SFR SCCA ITE regional championship - water pump nipple failed in a post season race at Thunderhill, I parked the car in my new shop and built a business.
Here's where it was earlier yesterday: (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_05/IMG_5293.JPG) prices are OBO plus shipping Valvetrain: Comp Cams ChroMo 1.6 roller rocker arms for 7/16" studs, excellent condition Manley pushrods excellent condition $ set of GM roller lifters with retainers and spider, excellent condition OEM (cracked with splint) oil pump drive (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_05/IMG_5296.JPG) (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_05/IMG_5297.JPG) ARP head bolts (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_05/IMG_5298.JPG) ported heads by Doug Rippe Motorsports, with big stainless Ferrea valves. Ports and seats were fluffed by Mike Blackstone of Watson Racing prior to the last season on the car. (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_05/IMG_5299.JPG) (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_05/IMG_5302.JPG) (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_05/IMG_5303.JPG) Sometime in the 9years that the car was sitting in my shop or garage, some water got into #7 and 8, rusting the bores and leaving this residue in the intake ports - valves are stainless, I think they should clean up OK. The orange residue on the combustion chambers brushed right off. Proform SBC centerbolt valve covers. Never installed, had them sitting on the motor but never bolted down or run. One of them has some oxidation pitting that will buff out.
includes new bolts, breathers and grommets includes used but good condition silicone gaskets includes new Moroso screw on oil filler cap and bung - tell me what end you want it on and I'll TIG the bung in place. Or, I think you can screw in the OEM filler tube. Clears big rocker arms everything for $ Needs a clearance notch to fit a 4th gen LT1 alternator, I can do that for an additional $20 (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_12/IMG_5334.JPG) (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_12/IMG_5336.JPG) (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_12/IMG_5337.JPG) Accel igition coil, ICM with heat sink, bracket and bolts (IMG:http://www.blainefabrication.com/projects/2012_08_12/IMG_5335.JPG) This post has been edited by Blainefab: Aug 16 2012, 07:46 AM |
