So I currently am putting a stock motor back into my camaro which will drop the car down into ESP from CP. The whole car is basically done and setup for ESP but I have been thinking about selling the Camaro and getting a C5Z and running SS. I drove a Z06 and was impressed and may have caught the Vette bug. I would like some input (Pros/Cons) as to which decision I should make? I love the Camaro but I only have room for one toy I cannot do both in this situation.

I will probably run ESP all this year and wait it out. I did noticed the rule change and it has been very vague about the future of SS considering it yields the most competition. Also on a side note does anyone know how to get more neg camber for a fourth gen and remain in ESP since I seem to have missed the strano offset bushing era.

Aftermarket upper OR lower control arms are available now as an option and legal with the last SP rule revision. Talk to Sam he knows what is legal and currently being used in competition |

On double/unequal arm (e.g., wishbone, multi-link) suspensions, only the upper arms OR lower arms may be modified or replaced, but not both. Non-integral longitudinal arms that primarily controlfore/aft wheel movement (e.g., trailing arm(s) or link(s) of a multi-link suspension) may not be replaced, changed, or modified.:" I think I'am going to purchase the Global Western Uppers now. |
