I WANT ONE!!!! 3200 lbs, 400 rwhp, great fuel economy, and really great handling car. Best part, you can buy or build them for around $15,000. Next year can't come soon enough.

Not familiar with NC laws regarding salvage titles; however, in Virginia the general rule of thumb is no plates for vehicles with salvage titles. Hence you cannot drive them on the public roads. You can appeal this decision by VDOT, but few, if any, win their cases. Virginia is very strict about titling vehicles with salvage titles from both out-of-state and in-state. You'll need to check your state laws first before you buy a salvage vehicle.

VA is a PITA. I used to live in VA beach, then Charlottesville, then finally Roanoke. I'll check with NC, but I'd imagine it'll be easier.
