Hopefully the buyer will keep it 100% out of the sunlight. I got one for our B4C a while back when I was still DD it. It didn't take long before it was the same shattered mess the one we replaced.
I got one, and am using a trick I've used successfully on a couple of other vinyl dashes; slather it with Vaseline and wrap it in Saran Wrap for a few months. Hopefully that'll soften the vinyl enough that it can resist infrequent and short-term exposure to sunlight. And funny how the Firebird dashes don't seem to suffer this problem as bad as the Camaros do. |
