Has anyone added baffles, or found a baffled fuel tank to prevent fuel starvation, especially below 1/2 tank? The last time I was at the track (last year), I experienced fuel starvation several times. Wondered how hard it would be to cure this, especially since I'll have to replace my fuel pump soon. 99+ cars have a better tank design (1998 didn't get the good tank). We would make sure we had only 5 gallons in the tank when we qualify. Thats about 6-7laps at most tracks. Not sure how the update would work (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ERV |
