I'm using the stock seats out of my 99 parts car for my 97 street/track car. It's a 6 way adjustable seat. For some reason it sits way high in its lowest position. Now something odd is the rear switch that controls the height of the rear of the seat works in reverse. Up is down, down is up.
To my untrained eye, I don't see anything that jumps out at me. (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v199/Steve91T/Camaro/9842747C-29C4-4A27-A532-BFE0373E0B59.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v199/Steve91T/Camaro/0B3F7783-35E5-4DE3-8D82-04E1761A791E.jpg) That last pic is in the full up position. Any ideas? I'm thinking someone took it apart and didn't put it back together correctly. |

Haha. I love that your answers were completely opposite.
Well maybe I just need to get used to it. I feel better knowing that it was just two wires that were backwards causing down be up instead of a mechanical issue. Maybe it sits a little higher than my old leather seats. That and the sun visors are sagging. That probably makes it seem worse than it really is. Thanks guys. |
