The intake I am installing on my 02 Camaro requires that I remove the passenger side windshield wiper. I would like to keep the drivers side wiper.
The linkage from the wiper motor goes to the passenger side wiper then to the drivers side. So remove the passenger side disables the drivers side. Is it possible to run the linkage directly from the motor to the drivers side wiper? Can I index the motor and wiper to accomplish this? How long does the linkage need to be? Or do I need to change to a different wiper motor and if so which one? And how does it mount? By the may this car will see some street use as well as some track days HPDE and such. I'm sure someone has done this so any help would be great. Thanks Craig |

I was thinking about going from the wiper motor to the drivers side wiper. I was thinking I could clock the motor and the wiper mount.
I'm not sure if that would work to get the full sweep. I might need to play with arm lengths. If it's to much of a pain I will just scrap the wipers. |

Arm length won't affect the sweep either. The motor is pretty well buried in the cowl, I would leave that where it's at and move the pass pivot to a spot with access thru the cowl opening. Shortening arms should be a simple cut, overlap, weld (or bolt) the pieces together. |
