The Teal Terror is finally hitting the track again this weekend. 9 cars showing up for CMC at Autobahn County Club.

That was a downer weekend. Went out for practice, got one lap and the car shut off into T3, coasted to the back side exit.. Towed it back and found the fuel pump plug fell off the bulkhead connector. Easy fix, plug it back in and the car fired right up.
Went out for qual and got 4 laps in when I felt the engine lay down coming off T2. Looked at the temp gauge and saw 235*, not the end of the world. Looked at the oil pressure and saw 0 psi, hit the ignition switch and coasted to the back side exit. Towed the car back and the engine is locked up tight. Probably shut it off right before it scattered. It was a junkyard LM4 with 40psi cold idle, IR baffle, 20w50, and 1 quart overfilled. Sucks but that's racing. https://ibb.co/NNyS25v |
